New Zealand crust leather
New Zealand bovine crust production includes leather for
shoe and upholstery / automotive leather.
All material is coming from freshly slaughtered stock and is
100% machine flayed, green fleshed and trimmed, from
100% freezer bovine whole hides. Colours, substances and
selections according to customers requirements.
New Zealand shoe crust
Quality / Size:
This shoe crust has been developed especially for the burnish
leather type and its characteristics are a soft and full touch and
a tight grain structure.
Average size 16 to 18 sf per side, split in chrome.
Colours (Thrudyed): Black, light brown, dark brown
(other colours upon customer request)
Substances: 1.0/1.2 mm - 1.8 to 2.0 mm

New Zealand upholstery crust
Size range:
45 to 55 sf per hide, limesplit. Average abt. 50 sf.
Selection (Ex wetblue):
• 80/20 I/II
• 50/50 I/II
• 100% seconds
• 100% thirds
Substances: 1.0 to 1.2 mm / 1.4 to 1.6 mm
