Goat skins
New Zealand
The production in New Zealand is going thru the whole year.
The goat skins are 100% machine flayed, greenfleshed,
trimmed and then drumsalted.
New Zealand goat skins are of good substance; usable for
nappa as well as for velours.
Wetsalted goat skins
Size range: 5 to 8 sf
Selection: Tannery run, rejects out
Approx. 8'000 skins per 20' container
Pickled goat skins
Grading is beeing done on the grain side Selections RUN (I/II)
and THIRDS (III), packed seperately.
Size ranges are:
• SMALL: under 4 sf, packing 150 dozen/pallet
• MEDIUM: 4 to 6 sf, packing 100 dozen/pallet
• LARGE: 6+ sf, packing 80 dozen/pallet |
