The production goes from October to August with peak production from January to June.
New Zealand hides are:
• 100% machine flayed
• Fleshed in green
• Head and shanks trimmed
• Various selections are available: I/II (80/20, 50/50,
100% 2nds, etc.), 3rds packed separately
• Hides are graded after sammying
• No tick and hump, max. 3% brands
Wetblue hides (unsplit / full substance)
All weight ranges are based on green fleshed, trimmed and drumsalted hides.
